What to Expect
Your Office Visit
Your appointment will include a consultation to explain your diagnosis and treatment options. Unless advised otherwise, any necessary and accepted treatments will typically be provided on the same day.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your visit:
- Your referral slip made out by your dentist.

All payments, estimated payments, or co-payments will be collected prior to treatment.
Usually, root canal therapy at our office can be completed in one visit. But sometimes, more involved or complex cases may require a follow up visit.
Please notify our office if you have any medical conditions that may be of concern prior to your treatment (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are taking any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.)
IMPORTANT: Patients that requirie antibiotic prophylaxis for cardiac conditions or prosthetic joints, etc. should pre-medicate for all visits.

After Your Root Canal Procedure
Once your procedure is completed, the root canal system has been permanently sealed. However, the outer surface has been temporarily restored. To protect your tooth against fracture and decay, a permanent restoration must be placed during a follow-up appointment.
Please be sure to contact your restorative dentist to schedule an appointment for this crucial restoration. A complete treatment report will be sent to your restorative dentist and should be available to them a few days after your treatment is completed.
